Joseph Wohala, or better known across the Warzone community as JoeWo is a 1997-born American pro call of duty player currently representing NRG. He is known in the Warzone community for having one of the best in-game movements, which he released a video about on his YouTube channel.
He has a twin sister. The were raised by their mom after their dad passed away when they were kids.
JoeWo’s family moved to North Carolina when he was in the second grade. He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in April 2020. He then decided to pursue full time content creation as opposed to graduate school then following month.
He started streaming in May 2018 and was fairly consistent during most of that time. However, in November 2019, he decided to really grind seriously and has been streaming almost daily ever since. His hard work paid off as his channel slowly grew. However, it was with the release of Call of Duty: Warzone in March 2010. This was largely due to his high kill counts and subsequent success in various online tournaments that really helped his channel to explode. He only started uploading content to his YouTube channel in June 2020.
He received Twitch partnership on his fifth attempt in September 2020. He joined NRG Esports in February 2021.
According to his Twitch overlay, JoeWo has over 16,450 subscribers. As he regularly attracts over 4,500 viewers, this should earn him a monthly income of at least $57,575 USD, excluding additional revenue he gets from tiered subscribers, sponsorships, tournament winnings, team salary, Twitch cheer bit contributions, advertisements and donations. He is estimated to have earned at least $40,000 USD from various tournaments.
Although he doesn’t have a set schedule, he tends to stream daily for between 2 – 9 hours per session.
